About Golf Course

Ooty Golf Course is a prominent golf station situated in the delightful town of Ooty in the territory of Tamil Nadu. Set at a height of 7200 feet, Golf course Ooty is claimed by the Gymkhana Club in Ooty. The fairway sprawls over a zone of 193.56 sections of land and contains 18 holes. The fairway was shaped by Colonel Fane Sewell, the then Secretary of the Blue Mountains Tennis and Cricket Club, in the year 1891.

The club at first had nine holes. Afterward, in the year 1896, Golf lovers shaped a golf club close-by which was named the Gymkhana club. The course was then taken under the responsibility for Club Ooty. Ten rooms and six hovels are accessible for the settlement of golfers. Individuals can likewise appreciate different offices, for example, table tennis, billiards, swimming pool, bar and an eatery at the green.
