About Gokarna Beach

The Gokarna beach is the main beach of Gokarna, but is not much preferred by the tourists. It is however a must visit for pilgrims. The pilgrims can take a dip in the waters of the beach and visit the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple. The beach used to look pretty before major littering changed its appearance.

Swimming here is not recommended decays the water is crowded and filthy. The beach provides beautiful views. The beach has shops that sell temple paraphernalia pop up. The place has a religious feel attached to it. It invites a large number of devotees too.
