Gobichettipalayam

Gobichettipalayam also known as Green city is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the second biggest city and urban agglomeration in Erode area and is the authoritative home office of Gobichettipalayam taluka. It is arranged at the focal point of the South Indian Peninsula, 400 kilometers 249 mi southwest of the state capital Chennai and 80 kilometers 50 mi east of Coimbatore.
