About Gangtok Ropeway

The Gangtok Ropeway is one of the best attractions in the capital city of Sikkim, Gangtok. The unmissable fascination is a twofold link zig back ropeway operational since December 2003. Gangtok Ropeway offers amazing perspectives on the city. The Deorali Bazar structure where you board the link vehicle can be effectively observed. The great perspectives on Mt Kanchenjunga snow crests, valleys and a waterway streaming around 3500 feet beneath open for explorers of the ropeway. Generally it is a remarkable ordeal.

Each cable car can carry up to 24 travelers. There are three stations in this 1 km long ride all over is 2 km. The least station, boarding point is at Deorali close Institute of Tibetology. The following station is Namnang and the best most station is in Tashiling beside the Secretariat. You can get off anytime, yet it is ideal to take 2-way ride. The ticket cost incorporates two-way ride and you get the opportunity to appreciate the delightful view both ways.
