It was the centerpiece of a gigantic palacial complex finished in 1583. It were the uncommon belonging of the illustrious family unit and Murtaza Nizam Shah frequently resigned here to play chess with a Delhi artist whom he called Fateh Shah and furthermore worked for him a different mahal called Lakad Mahal in the garden. The focal eight-sided royal residence is presently in ruins and with the exception of a bank no indications of the lake remains.
