Durgadi Killa

Among the few places to visit in Kalyan is Durgadi Killa. This majestic fort is the most adored monument of Kalyan city. It is a sacred place named after Durga, the Goddess. The fort is a recreation point for the locals.

It was constructed during Shiva's Era, dedicated to the Hindu deity, Durga. Located on a hilltop, this fort is the very first thing to visit on a trip to Kalyan. Before sunset, one can get amazing views of Retibunder, Kalyan-Bhiwandi bridge and Ganesh Ghat from here.
