About Dolphins Nose

Situated at around 12km away from Coonoor, Dolphin Nose will stand to your expectations. Just as the photo point in Munnar is well renowned for its picturesque scenes, this place has its own charms. Dolphin's nose is situated in Nilgiri district, which is a hilly area.

Standing at a majestic 1000feet above the sea level, This place in Ooty is the spectacular point to visit. This peak is well known as the Dolphin’s nose as its tip of the peak is shaped in Dolphin’s nose. Hence this place derived its name. There are many tea plantations on the way.

This area has an enormous rock formation that is entirely unique. There are formations of ravines on either side of this hill. The view of the Catherine Falls which is thousands of feet below is just mind-blowing. This fall is located at a short distance from this well-known hill.
