About DODDA ALADA MARA

Dodda Alada Mara is a mammoth Banyan tree in the town of Ramohalli, and around 28 kilometers west of Bangalore. This 400 year old the sprawling tree covers around 3 sections of land. The principle tree has throughout the years spread out generally with a few ethereal roots and however is a solitary tree, it would seem that a wide range of trees now.
The whole tree is fenced, and the encased zone has checked pathways. You can stroll around under the tree's covering and appreciate the banyan shade. There is additionally a Shiva sanctuary in the fenced in area.
