Dhikala

The Dhikala region is the largest zone for jungle safari and it offers varied flora and fauna. The good part is that you can get homestays where you can stay overnight and be among the wild animals.

The surrounding is heavy with wildlife and provide the home for the goat-antelope and mahseer. The Ramganga river and its streams flow through different parts of this zone giving ample opportunity to see the beauty and indulge in some activities.

The name Dhikala came from the Dhikal grasslands, which is the tallest grassland which allows many wild animals to stay there. Other than these grasslands there are sal forest and mixed grasslands.
