About Dargah Char Qutub
Dargah Char Qutub is situated in the western part of the town and derives its name from the four shrines that were erected in the memory of four Sufi saints. The premises of the shrine have tombs of Jamal-ud-din Hansvi, Burhan-ud-din, Qutubuddin Munawar and Nuruddin.
All the four saints were given the title of Qutub and this monument served as their final resting place. Initially, these tombs were near a small mosque that was later turned into a large mosque during the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The tomb of Mir Alam, monument of Mir Tijarah, the chief purveyor of Sultan Hamid-ud-din of Hansi, and the tomb of Begum Skinner can also be seen within this complex.
