Cherapunjee is place of waterfalls and streams succumbed everywhere with the admixture with the vastness of lush green plain all over which certainly enchants the place with the mirth of serenity and freshness all over. Amongst all Dainthlen falls is one of the beautiful falls which can be found on the way of Cherapunjee situated on the way of near about the distance of 5km to the way to Cherapunjee.
The fall got its name in a much mythological story, according to legend it was said a python lurks around the place and many local residents killed by stone near the waterfall, that how it got the name. The fall is about a height of eighty to ninety meter height which perhaps give a spectacular view.
