About Chitkul Village

Chitkul is a small village, situated about 600 kilometers from Delhi, deep in the Kinnaur Valley. Chitkul is known to be the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border. It is basically a doorway opening into a beautiful landscape of breathtaking beauty.

The village has everything, Meadows, mountains, grasslands, big rocks, river, jungle and apple orchids. If you are planning to visit the village it is advisable that you stay for at least 5 days as the landscape keeps you intrigued in exploring all of these. One can do trekking here as well. A drive on the road to Chitkul is also pleasant. Chitkul has a wildlife Sanctuary for wildlife and nature lovers.
