About Chatham Saw Mill
The Chatham Saw Mill is located in the Chatham Island of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It was set up in the year 1833. It is the largest and oldest mill across Asia, constructed in order to meet the requirements of saw and timber for local construction work. The mill is owned by the Forest Department. It spreads across a vast area, housing wood cut into different shapes and sizes.
