About Chandragiri

Chandragiri is an antiquated town and the seat of Yadaaya Kings from eleventh to thirteenth hundreds of years and fourth capital of Vijayanagar Dynasty. Chandragiri alongside Tirupati is one of the perfect Chennai end of the week excursions and a noteworthy legacy/authentic site in Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the prime Tourist puts in Tirupati town. The Fort is based on an enormous shake at an elevation of 183 meters.

The southern side of the slope is encased by solid dividers, encompassed by a dump to keep any interloper from going into the fortification. The Chandragiri Fort has eight demolished temples inside the stronghold alongside Raja Mahal, Rani Mahal and other destroyed structures. The Raja Mahal Palace is currently an archeological exhibition hall. The castle is one of the finest cases of Vijayanagara design.
