Budhlada

Budhlada is a city and a municipal council in Mansa district in the territory of Punjab, India. It is situated in the Cotton Belt of India and is one of the biggest cotton advertises in Asia. BUDHA and LADA were two real siblings who were khatri by rank. The town got its name from the names of these two siblings. It was a piece of Kaithal state name. The lord of the Kaithal state did not help the British amid the uprising of 1857. So the British attached the kingdom. Later on, it was converged with Karnal District. It was the biggest market of East Punjab. It was a major enlistment focal point of military work force which was second to just to Rohtak in India. The Ashoka Chakra Award was given on Hawaldar Joginder Singh Datewas who was enlisted from Budhlada.
