Botanical garden

Located at a distance of 3 km from the Yercaud lake is the Botanical garden in the Lady Seat's road. It is one of the top attractions in Yercaud and is maintained by southern circle of Botanical survey of India.

The garden is home to various exotic species of flowers and plants. It has different sections such as the foliage, topiary , bonsai, butterfly, herbal, rock, water and sensory garden. It is a must visit for the nature lovers.

The garden also houses the third largest Orchidarium in India along with a green house, where 3000 trees and 1800 shrubs are grown. The Orchidarium has a large collection of rare and endangered orchids. There are other rare plants and flowers here, like Kurinji flower that blooms once in 12 years.
