About Bharat Koop

A little sanctuary alongside a well, Bharat Koop is found couple of kilometers from the town. It is trusted that it was this place where Bharat put away water from all journey puts in India. Bharat Koop is a tremendous well close Bharatpur town, situated around 50 km West of Chitrakoot.

It is trusted that Bharat brought water from all the sacred spots to smooth Lord Rama as the King of Ayodhya. Bharat was unsuccessful in convincing Rama to come back to his kingdom and have his spot as the ruler.
