Baspa River

Baspa river is river originating from the Baspa Hills and joining the Sutlej river. It is one of the most beautiful and shimmering rivers of Himalayas. It has been attached with a lot of culture, history and nature. The Baspa Valley rose from this river. The Chung Sakhago Pass lying ahead of this Valley has many glaciers to enrich its beauty.

Baspa river looks very scenic along with the valley adjacent to it, covered with huge oak and pine trees. The lower side of the valley has huge green fields, meadows and pastures. The beauty of the valley comes from the soothing river and the greenary around. Photographers can get some picturesque views of the valley, river as well as the surrounding villages of the Himalayan regions.

Varieties of fishes are found in this region and hence it is known as the anglers' region. Baspa river is also an attraction for the trekkers and campers. River crossing is a popular sport.
