Basilica of Our Lady of Dolores

Our Lady of Dolours Basilica pseudonym Puthanpally is a minor basilica of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Thrissur City. The third tallest church in Asia, it is renowned for its Gothic style design. Worked in fine Indo-Gothic style with a region of 25,000 square feet, it has taking off steeples at the passage, twofold storeyed paths up and down the nave and transepts, and eleven sacrificial tables, five on either side of the fundamental one.

It is the biggest church in India and its abundant inside improvements incorporate fine examples of wall paintings, pictures of holy people and scenes from the sacred writings. With paintings on its dividers and roofs, this 1875-constructed Roman Catholic Minor Basilica has the biggest church inside in South India. It is enhanced with 140 ft long steeple, which is noticeable from anyplace in the town.
