Barren Island

Barren Island is an island positioned within the Andaman Sea, ruled through Barren Volcano, the only confirmed lively volcano in South Asia, and the handiest lively volcano alongside a series of volcanoes from Sumatra to Myanmar. Along with the relaxation of the Andaman Islands, it's far part of the Indian Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and lies approximately 138 km northeast of the territory's capital, Port Blair. The first recorded eruption of the volcano dates lower back to 1787. Since then, the volcano has erupted greater than ten times, with the maximum current one being in 2017.

After the first recorded eruption in 1787, further eruptions had been recorded in 1789, 1795, 1803 to 04, and 1852.
