About Bali Pass Trek

The Bali Pass trek begins from Sankri, which is around 153 km from Mussoorie and 130 km from Yamunotri by street. The trekking trail extends for roughly 7-8 days with rise running from 1,900 m to 4,800 m, going through the enchanting Har Ki Dun valley. The trail goes through Govind National Park, which houses a few vivid plantations, types of creatures and fowls. The Bali Pass Trek subsequent to intersection the Har Ki Dun valley travels through the Ruinsara Tal.

The trek to Bali Pass is considered as one of the direct treks in the Garhwal Himalayan district. The region is encompassed by Bandarpunch range and a portion of the popular pinnacles are Kalanag, Bandarpunch west and Ruinsara. This locale was made prominent by Jack Gibson, an instructor at the Doon school in the late 1940's.
