About Anchuthengu

Anchuthengu, in the past known as Anjengo or Anjenga, is a beach front town . The town contains old Portuguese-style holy places, a beacon, a 100-year-old cloister and school, tombs of Dutch and British mariners and officers, and the remaining parts of the Anchuthengu Fort. Kaikara town, the origin of the celebrated Malayalam writer Kumaran Asan, is found close-by. Sanctuaries in the territory are Sree Bala Subrahmanya Swami Kshethram and Parambil Sree Bhadrakali Yogeeshwara Kshethram.Anchuthengu is around 36 kilometers 22 mi north of Thiruvananthapuram. The closest air terminal is Trivandrum International Airport. Kadakkavur Railway Station is 2 kilometers 1.2 mi away. You can visit this place with your friends and family members.
