Ambad is a town with a civil committee in Jalna region in the province of Maharashtra, India. Ambad is remarkable for its sanctuary devoted to the Hindu goddess Matsyodari. In October of every year, lovers of the goddess assemble in Ambad for the Hindu celebration of Dashahara.
