About Amar Mahal Museum

Amar Mahal, situated in Jammu, is a royal residence portraying greatness of a recent time. It was built by a French engineer for Raja Amar Singh, having a place with the Dogra line. The design of this superb royal residence takes after the stupendous Chateaus of France. The delightful castle of Amar Mahal is made of red sand stone which is a genuine visual treat. The dazzling sight of River Tawi streaming underneath and the Shivaliks in the north will definitely influence your heart to avoid a beat or two. Dr. Karan Singh gave this castle to the beneficent trust of Hari-Tara. Indeed, Amar Mahal Palace at display has been changed into an exhibition hall. It additionally plays host to a very much loaded library.
