Allen Forest Zoo

Allen forest Zoo is located in the district of Kanpur in Andhra Pradesh. The zoo is also known by the name as Kanpur Zoo. The place covers a huge area and is considered to be the biggest open green space in whole of Kanpur. Previously the place was inhabiting fauna and a residing center for them, later it was converted to a zoo in a natural forest.

The zoo inhabits many animals like those of white tigers, rhinoceros, lions, hyena, jaguar, monkey, bear, languor, chimpanzees and many more. The zoo also resides a botanical garden which implants rare species of plants. Rainwater lake, aviary and night house, aquarium are the other elements in the zoo which gathers many tourist far across. Moreover, the place is a hub for educational site relating to natural habitats and environmental issues.
