About Golden Circle

Golden Circle is Famous among locals and visitors for its eye-catching scenery; it is a prevalent traveler course in southern Iceland. It covers around 300 kilometers circling from Reykjavík into the southern uplands of Iceland and back. The territory contains most visits and travel-related exercises in Iceland.

The name Golden Circle is a promoting term that has no roots in Icelandic history. The three essential stops on the course are the Þingvellir National Park, the Gullfoss waterfall, and the geothermal zone in Haukadalur, which contains the springs Geysir and Strokkur.

In spite of the fact that Geysir has been for the most part torpid for a long time, Strokkur keeps on emitting each 5– 10 minutes. Different stops incorporate the Kerið volcanic pit, the town of Hveragerði, Skálholt house of God, and the Nesjavellir and Hellisheiðarvirkjun geothermal power plants.
