Szolnok is the county seat of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county in central Hungary. Its place at the banks of the Tisza river, on the coronary heart of the Great Hungarian Plain, has made it an essential cultural and monetary crossroads for centuries. The place turned into first settled inside the Paleolithic era.
