About Eger minaret
The Eger minaret is an Ottoman generation minaret tower positioned in Eger city, northern Hungary. It is the most northern minaret left from Ottoman rule in Europe. The minaret is 40 metres excessive and constructed from crimson sandstone. It was constructed in the early seventeenth century as a part of the Djami of Kethuda mosque and used for the Muslim name to prayer.
