Cathedral Basilica of St John the Apostle

The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle or greater formally Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle and Evangelist, St. Michael and the Immaculate Conception also referred to as Eger Cathedral is a non secular constructing affiliated with the Catholic Church that features as lacatedral of the Archdiocese of Eger, is placed in the town of Eger, within the European usa of Hungary.

The cathedral became constructed between 1831 and 1837 with the aid of Jozsef Hilda commissioned by Archbishop Janos Laszlo Pyrker. The cathedral is a basilica with three naves.
