About Tai Lam Chung Reservoir
Shaped by a primary dam over the Tai Lam Chung Valley, the development work of the repository started in 1952 and was finished in 1957. Its water stockpiling limit is around 21 million cubic metres. The Tai Lam Chung Reservoir, situated in the Tai Lam Country Park, is the principal repository worked in Hong Kong after the Second World War.
