Sha Tin Park

Most of the land that the entertainment focus has was recouped from Tide Cove in the midst of the advancement of the Sha Tin New Town, however a segment of the land existed to this point and was in advance required by the Sha Tin Airfield, a military air base.
While the amusement focus was a work in progress, a "sneak see" was given to general society as it was quickly opened from 14 to 17 March 1987 for the Hongkong Flower Show.
Sha Tin Park is a diversion focus at 2 Yuen Wo Road, Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It is organized along the Shing Mun River in the new town of Sha Tin, adjacent to the New Town Plaza, Sha Tin Town Hall, and Sha Tin Public Library.
The diversion focus includes 8.05 hectares 19.89 areas of land of land, and is administered by Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The opening hours are from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm.
