About Ping Shan Heritage Trail
Ping Shan Heritage Trail is a legacy trail situated in the Ping Shan region of Yuen Long District, in Hong Kong. The trail was initiated on 12 December 1993 and was the first of its kind in Hong Kong. It goes through the towns of Hang Tau Tsuen, Hang Mei Tsuen and Sheung Cheung Wai and it incorporates a few proclaimed landmarks and evaluated structures.
The Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery and Heritage Trail Visitors Center was opened in 2007. It is housed in the Old Ping Shan Police Station. Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda is Hong Kong's just antiquated pagoda. The name in Chinese signifies "Pagoda of Gathering Stars". It turned into a pronounced landmark on December 2001.
Oral history demonstrates the pagoda was initially a seven-story hexagonal-molded green-block structure, yet was harmed because of solid climate.
