About Museum of Byzantine Culture

The Museum of Byzantine Culture is a historical center in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. The gallery is a logical foundation, open to the general population, of a more extensive social and instructive nature, expects to gather, save, ensure, preserve, show and concentrate the works and protests of the early Christian, Byzantine, medieval by and large and post-Byzantine periods, predominantly from the topographical region of Macedonia and the exhuming material of the regional extent of the ninth Ephorate of Byzantine Antiquities, with which it is in close coordinated effort.
