Knossos

It is more fabulous, more perplexing, and showier than any of alternate castles known to us, and it is situated around twenty minutes south of the advanced port town of Iraklio.It was occupied for a few thousand years, starting with a Neolithic settlement at some point in the seventh thousand years BC, and was surrendered after its annihilation in 1375 BC which denoted the finish of Minoan development.
