Fethiye Mosque

The Fethiye Mosque is an Ottoman mosque in Ioannina, Greece. The mosque become constructed within the city's inner fort Its Kale at once after the conquest through the Ottomans in 1430, near the ruins of an early thirteenth-century Byzantine church committed to the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. Originally it become a timber structure, which changed into replaced in 1611 by means of a stone constructing. It become considerably remodelled in 1795 through Ali Pasha, who made it the primary mosque of his palace.
