About Archaeological Museum of Rhodes

The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is placed within the Medieval City of Rhodes. The museum is housed within the huge edifice that changed into the sanatorium of the Knights of Saint John. Construction of it changed into all started in 1440 and brought to completion within the time of the Grand Master d'Aubusson 1476-1503. The Museum carries various collections of archaeological artifacts from various parts of Rhodes and the neighbouring islands.
