About Aquarium of Rhodes

The Aquarium of Rhodes is an exploration focus, aquarium and historical center in Rhodes, Greece. It was worked in the 1930s, when the island was under the Italian control and is at present directed by the National Center of Marine Research. The building, an Art deco outline by the Italian modeler Armando Bernabiti, was built in the vicinity of 1934 and 1935. When it initially began tasks in 1937, it was named the Reale Istituto di Ricerce Biologiche di Rodi Royal Biological Research Institute of Rhodes. Research here incorporated the hydrology, wipes, and fisheries of the Aegean.
The aquarium is in the cellar of the building, and is a hall intended to resemble a submerged surrender. The tanks along each side of the hall are loaded with roughly 80,000 liters of separated seawater, giving a regular habitat to the occupants. The presentations incorporate ocean anemones and plants, octopuses, ocean urchins, corals, bivalves, crabs, lobsters, ocean turtles, dolphins, seals, mollusks, sharks, and numerous other fish.
