Callendar House

Callendar House is a manor set inside the grounds of Callendar Park in Falkirk, focal Scotland. During the 19^th century, it was overhauled and stretched out in the style of a French Renaissance chateau melded with components of Scottish baronial design. Nonetheless, the center of the building is a 14^th century tower house. In the fourteenth century the fifth Thane Sir Patrick Callander, upheld the case of Edward Balliol to the royal position of Scotland. Sir Patrick Callander was later attainted and his domains were relinquished.
