The Manhyia Palace is the seat of the Asantehene of Asanteman and his official home. The main royal residence is presently a museum. The castle was worked in 1925 by the British and after some time the Third Anglo-Ashanti War in 1874 when the British had crushed the 1st royal residence worked by Ghanaians.
