About Anloga
Anloga is a city in Keta District of the Volta Region in southeast Ghana. It lies east of the Volta River and just south of the Keta Lagoon. Anloga is the 40-7th maximum populous in Ghana, in terms of populace, with a populace of 35,933 human beings. Anloga became the conventional and formality capital of the Anlo Ewe in the 17th century once they migrated to the Keta Lagoon region from Notsie in Togo. Following the Anlo-Danish War, the Dane built Fort Prinzenstein at Keta in 1784.
However their efforts to exert any power beyond the range of the guns located inside the fortress proved to be useless. In June 1790 a Danish reputable was killed in Keta. Lacking any powerful army forces the Danes employed the Anloga to punish the Keta.
