Thingspiele

The Thing destinations were to be worked however much as could be expected in a characteristic setting, joining rocks, trees, waterways, destroys, and slopes of some verifiable or mythic essentialness. The possibility of the Thingspiel development was that the Volk would assemble for völkisch gatherings and for theater and promulgation introductions. The term Thingspiel was first advanced by the scholarly Carl Niessen de in a discourse on 29 July 1933; he had Tacitus' Germania at the top of the priority list. The Thingspiele were to be immersive multi-disciplinary auditorium of another kind. As set out in a 1934 discourse by Reich dramatization counsel Rainer Schlösser, the goal was "a show that escalates verifiable occasions to make a legendary, all-inclusive, unambiguous reality past reality."
