The City Hall Rotes Rathaus
About The City Hall Rotes Rathaus
The Rathaus was worked in the vicinity of 1861 and 1869 in the style of the Northern Italy High Renaissance by Hermann Friedrich Waesemann. It was displayed on the Old Town Hall of Thorn , while the design of the pinnacle is reminiscent of the church building tower of Notre-Dame de Laon in France. It supplanted a few individual structures dating from the Middle Ages and now involves a whole city square.
The building was intensely harmed by Allied shelling in World War II and revamped to the first designs in the vicinity of 1951 and 1956. The Neues Stadthaus, which survived the bombarding and had previously been the head office of Berlin's city fire protection Feuersozietät in Parochialstrabe filled in as the brief city corridor for the post-war city government for every one of the areas of Berlin until September 1948.
