About St Reinolds Church

The Baroque pinnacle of St Reinold's Church climbs over Willy-Brandt-Platz at the geographical point of convergence of Dortmund.

The building was raised in the thirteenth century after a fire ensured its predecessor, and it has a Romanesque nave and Gothic chancel.

In the medieval circumstances, St Reinold's Church was Dortmund's powerful concentration and was the guideline ward church up to the Reformation in the sixteenth century.

There's a ton to see inside, like a fourteenth-century statue of St Reinoldus, a stool on the south side of the choir from 1462 and the splendid retable on the high sacred place cut by the Flanders-considered Master of Hakendover 1420.
