About Sprengel Museum

The Sprengel Museum in Hanover houses a standout amongst the most critical accumulations of present day craftsmanship in Germany. It is situated in a building planned by Peter and Ursula Trint and Dieter Quast, contiguous the Maschsee. The exhibition hall opened in 1979 and the building was reached out in 1992. Bernhard Sprengel gave his broad accumulation of present day workmanship to the city of Hanover in 1969, and in addition fiscally supporting the development of the exhibition hall.
