Schloss Ahrensburg

Schloss Ahrensburg Palace is a previous Herrenhaus house and is today alluded to as a Schloss. It is situated in Ahrensburg in southern Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, not a long way from the city of Hamburg. In the 13^th century, there was a manor with a channel and protective towers known as Burg Arnesvelde, around three kilometers south of the present Schloss Ahrensburg. He tore down pieces of the manor and began building what was to turned into the present Schloss Ahrensburg. The Verein Schloss Ahrensburg E.V., upheld by the express, the nearby investment funds bank and the town of Ahrensburg, took over keeping up the property. The chateau historical center opened in 1938. In the wake of being shut in the war, it revived in 1955.

In 1960-61, the outside of the manor and its storehouses was utilized as "Garre Castle" in the film The Green Archer. In 1984-86, the chateau was redesigned, including a diversion of the internal canal. Further inside work followed during the 1990s. In 2002, the mansion and the six hectares of park were exchanged to a private establishment that since 2007 needed to work without open appropriations. The chateau and its exhibition hall are available to people in general. It very well may be leased for weddings and hosts shows and youngsters' occasions.
