Rosarium Uetersen
About Rosarium Uetersen
The Rosarium Uetersen is a rose garden situated in the Rosenstadt Uetersen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and is the most established and biggest rose greenery enclosure in Northern Germany. The present rosarium was made somewhere in the range of 1929 and 1934, and opened to people in general on the event of the multi year celebrations of Uetersen on June 23, 1934. The recreation center, initially planned via finishing planner Berthold Thormahlen, and three surely understood German rose raisers from Holstein, Mathias Tantau, Wilhelm Kordes, and Krause, covers at present more than seven hectares, and is available to people in general.
Amid the most recent 80 years, the rose patio nursery was adjusted a few times because of climate impacts, augmentations, and redesigns. The rose patio nursery is refreshed consistently through the manor of new cultivars, and today shows in excess of 900 rose assortments in 35,000 rose plants in all shading tints and smell subtleties with an attention on climbing and standard roses. A few rose cultivars were called either after the city or the rose greenery enclosure itself, for example the pink climber 'Rosarium Uetersen' Kordes 1977, its two games 'Uetersens Rosenkönigin' and 'Uetersens Rosenprinzessin', and the cream-hued climber 'Uetersener Klosterrose'.
