The coronary heart of Regensburg's super UNESCO World Heritage repute Old Town focuses across the Alter Kornmarkt, or Old Corn market. It's right here you'll see the oldest surviving part of the city, the Roman Tower dating from the 2nd century, and the Herzogshof, a residence of the Dukes of Bavaria first cited in AD 988.
