Neandertal
About Neandertal
The Neandertal is a little valley of the stream Düssel in the German territory of North Rhine-Westphalia, situated around 12 km 7.5 mi east of Düsseldorf, the capital city of North Rhine-Westphalia. The valley exists in the cutoff points of the towns of Erkrath and Mettmann. In August, 1856, the region ended up celebrated for the revelation of Neanderthal 1, the principal example of Homo neanderthalensis to be found. The Neandertal was initially a limestone ravine broadly known for its tough landscape, waterfalls and caverns.
Since the underlying revelation of the example of the valley there have been extra unearthings. Various ancient rarities and human skeletal parts have been found in the valley. Unearthings have discovered two cranial sections that appear to fit onto the first Neandertal 1 calotte.
