About Munsingen
Munsingen is a metropolis in the district of Reutlingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It is situated 23 km southeast of Reutlingen, and 37 km west of Ulm. The name Munsingen is thought to be derived of an alemannic chief called Munigis, who founded a settlement on the prevailing-day metropolis limitations. In 775 Munsingen is cited for the primary time on a deed of present of Lorsch Abbey. The church of Munsingen is first cited in 804. After the rule of the Franks the village went to the county of Wurttemberg-Urach, which sold it in 1263 to Ulrich I. In 1339, Munsingen turned into granted Town privileges.
Through the partition of Wurttemberg it got here under the purview of Urach, till in 1482 the Treaty of Munsingen had the re-unification of the County of Wurttemberg.
