About Kestner Gesellschaft

Kestner Gesellschaft is an art gallery in Hanover, Germany, established in 1916 to advance human expressions. Its authors incorporated the painter Wilhelm von Debschitz. The affiliation bloomed under the administration of Alexander Dorner and Justus Bier, spearheading present day craftsmanship. After World War II, Alfred Hentzen assumed control over the administration in 1947, trailed by Fritz Schmalenbach. In 1997 the Kestner Gesellschaft moved into new premises at Goseriede 11, the previous site of the Goseriede Aquatic Center. The new exhibition is beside the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, Hanover's daily paper.
